El Cartel Review

Well as soon as El Cartel came out, I purchased it on itunes. What do i think of it? 2 words, Quedo Cabr-n. The album has 21 tracks and all of them are great, it shows Daddy Yankee worked his ass of for this.

My top five favorite songs are of course the intro (best intro of any reggaeton cd in my opinion), Impacto, Bring It On (with Akon), Sony Lo Que Soy and my favorite of all is "Todos Quieren a Ramon".

The phrase I most liked about the song "Todos Quieren a Ramon" is when Daddy Yankee says "Lo qu tu digas de mi... me tiene sin cojones, creeme que ando por ahi gozando de mis milliones". Quedo bien guillao.

Overall, Daddy Yankee made this album with a whole new style and on top of that, included famous international artist, the end result is of course a top seller. I should remind you guys that Daddy Yankees is the only reggaeton artist to sell in the millions.

I was suprised by the album actually. I thought it showed a lot of variety. My favorite track is 'Jefe'. The drums in it are awesome and it just pounds. Even my 6 yr old loves it. I like the integration of a little salsa too as that is what Puerto Rico is known for!!
